Why did you become a virtual assistant?
Lilia: I had to give up my corporate work to care for my baby, who had a heart abnormality. I’ve been to many companies, but with 20four7VA, I finally feel supported and seen.
It can be hard to balance everything as a single mom, but this engaging and supportive workplace has made work-life balance possible for me.
How did 20four7VA positively impact you?
Lilia: 20four7VA has had a positive impact on me as a mother. Because I work the night shift, I am able to take my son to school in the morning and be there for his every need.
This setup allows me to recharge, reset, and do my best at work!
What are your top 3 favorite things about working with 20four7VA?

- Flexibility – The best perk is being able to watch over my kid while at work. This isn’t an option in other professions, but working from home allows me to be present with my loved ones while building a promising career.
What is your top remote work tip?
Lilia: Before becoming a VA, it is important for you to have a firm mindset and a solid basic skillset. You should be proficient in MS Office, file sharing and organizing, and familiar with basic photo and video editing.
Beyond the basics, take the initiative to upskill; growth is necessary in this fast-paced industry.
What is a remote work challenge that you faced?
Lilia: At first, the biggest challenge was staying awake at night.
To overcome this challenge, you need to take care of yourself and establish a healthy routine. I eat on time and work out regularly to maintain a healthy body while working the night shift.
